Phew, I was busier than I remembered! That's what happens when you really enjoy what you do and I do indeed love my job. Until next time (hopefully not in a year!)...

Hanging onto the last of these summer days...
Here in Chicago, the month of August was unseasonably cool. 70/75 degrees for a high. Low and behold, the week school starts for most kids, the temps are up in the 90s. I, for one, am not complaining. I LOVE the heat. I love summer and I'll hang to it as long as possible. It does make for some hot photo sessions, but these two families breezed through their sessions. I love how these photos turned out...
Family number two, my cousin and her lovely family:

My son-in-law
How many people can say that they took their son-in-law's first birthday photos? Probably not many. I, however, had the pleasure of taking my future SIL's pics the other day. His mom is my very best friend and we've, of course, decided that her youngest needs to marry my youngest. J + J 4ever. :)
Here is a sneak peek of his pics...his older brother even graced us with a few photos. Best way to make a big kid smile? Insist that they absolutely must NOT smile. Gets them every time.

It's About Darn Time!
Welcome to my blog...finally! If you don't know me that well, you probably don't know that I'm a bit of a control freak. Don't feel sorry for my husband, I'm not a control freak in that manner...more like when I see something I like I immediately think, "Hmmm, could I do that myself?" That's how I got into photography, crocheting, sewing, etc.
However, I found my creative downfall when I tried designing my own blog. Dude, HTML and all of that jargon is just not for me. It's hard, yo! So I enlisted the help of a professional and finally got this thing going, phew!
I think everything is pretty self-explanatory, but if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you for your support!
